Pecans – Unsalted pecan halves.

Granulated Sugar – With the brown sugar this makes the base of sweet candy coating

Brown Sugar – Brown sugar adds extra richness to the candy coating

Cinnamon – In addition to the sugar, the pecans are coated in a spice mixture-starting with cinnamon.

Chipotle Chili Powder – To balance out the sweetness, chipotle chili powder is also used.  The pecans don’t end up spicy, there is just a nice warmth.

Salt – To round out all of the flavors, you need salt!

Egg white – A frothed egg white is used to coat the pecans in the sugar/spice mixture.
