With the change of the seasons, I look forward to bringing back my favorite fall macaron flavors. Most of these are inspired from classic pie flavors. Be sure to check out my Perfect Macaron Recipe for my tips and tricks.
Pumpkin Cheesecake Macarons
These macarons have all the comforting spices of fall wrapped up in a creamy frosting. It’s a mashup of two classics pie flavors in one bite: cheesecake and pumpkin pie. Click here for the recipe.
Apple Pie Macarons
If you always go for the apple pie at Thanksgiving, you are going to love this one! Inspired by the classic pie, these macarons are filled with a flavorful, spiced apple compote. Click here for the recipe.
Pecan Pie Macarons
My favorite holiday dessert is pecan pie, so of course I had to make pecan pie macarons! Each cookie is filled with a delicious caramel that’s loaded with chopped pecans. It’s sweet, slightly gooey, and has a great texture. Click here for the recipe.
Chocolate Macarons
Of course chocolate macarons are great year round, but I think they are extra comforting this time of year. I add a lilt Nutella into the ganache for a little extra depth of flavor. Click here for the recipe.
What is your favorite? I’ll have one of each! If you are looking for a creative way to share your favorite pie flavored macaron, try making one of my macaron pie display! Use my downloadable template to cut out the pieces on your Cricut Maker.
